After you have defined the characteristics of your home, apartment, condo or mobile home, you will be able to link utility accounts. If applicable, first set up your accounts online with your utility provider. The username and password linked to your account will allow WegoWise to connect to your account online and automatically import the data on a monthly basis. Even if you cannot view your account information online or WegoWise does not have an importer for your provider, still add utility accounts that you pay for. If you'd like, you can watch a video on setting up utility accounts or scroll to the bottom to see a quick animation. Otherwise, keep reading!
Step 1. Select which utility account you would like to define. It doesn't matter which one you start with.
Step 2. Enter the account number and utility company associated with this account. If you have registered online with your utility provider, please provide your account number and select the utility provider from the drop down menu. If you don't see your utility company, select Other and type in the utility company name. If you select Other, it means that you'll have to manually input your data into Wego for the time being. We don't like this any more than you do, so drop us a note and let us know what utility company you want to get data from!
Step 3. Depending on your utility company, you will be prompted to enter your user name and password. If you don't have this information, don't worry, skip to the next step and you can add it in later.
Step 4. Click Save Login. If you don't have login info, click Cancel (Continue without a login). Your account will be created and you will be directed back to the Utility Accounts tab where all the accounts you have added so far will be listed. You can see the status of data being imported next to each account number.
